Hole Punch Flowers
I found this simple craft idea from a photocopy in my craft folder. The
original craft project was printed in a Highlights' magazine April 1991 issue . Three of the Hole Punch Flowers are designated Mother's Day gifts-one for her Grandma and one for each Auntie.
I made these two Hole Punch Flowers for Effervescent Ethel and she wants them framed, too.
Need:
-hole punch
-(scrap) paper, greetings cards, paint chip samples, magazines, etc. for the flower petals, leaves and stems
-scissors
-glue
-pencil or permanent marker for signing and dating
Decorations suggestions:
-sequins
-self-adhesive rhinestones
-ribbon or lace
-buttons
-beads (if you wish to frame the art piece you'll need to use small/flat beads so that it will fit in the picture frame, unless you plan on using a box frame. )
-(optional) picture frame
Cost: The craft items were dredged out of the craft barrels, each frame cost $1 and they were purchased at Dollar Tree. I really wanted square frames but couldn't find any. Total cost $3.00.
