I purchased a package of decorative Dia de los Muertos'-themed clothespin aka wood clips at World Market/Cost Plus last year in their deep discounted seasonal section for about $1.25 if I remember correctly. The small clothespins with a heart design are from Dollar Tree or maybe Target in the dollar bins. Notice that I accidentally glued two of the clothespins the wrong way.

To make:
-decorative or plain craft clothespin clips (any craft store, World Market, possibly Pier 1 Imports, Dollar Tree, etc.)
-two small plain or decorative clothespins, for the legs (2 per stool/table)
-glue (wood glue or stronger glue such as E6000 is recommended)
-permanent markers, pens or similar to decorate the plain clothespin, if needed (optional)
