Ahoy!

Reminiscent of another egg carton flower craft project we did last year: http://dadiddleycraftcraft.blogspot.com/2013/05/egg-carton-flowers-and-more-egg-carton.html .This one didn't quite turn out the way I thought it would but she enjoyed the whole process. The source link above made the painting part of the craft look easier to do than it was. What matters most is that Effervescent Ethel was happy with the outcome.

Need:

-recycled egg carton
-paint
-paintbrush
-construction paper
-scissors
-glue
-beads or similar to decorate the center of the flower  (last year I picked up a bag of plastic beads at our local Dollar Tree.)
-colored pencil, crayon or marker to draw leaves and stems (optional)
-baby wipes and/or towels for messes!

Cost:  Ø. Used what was available in the craft closet.
